Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Texas team. This role focuses on direct sales activity within an assigned territory, identifying new accounts and leveraging Intertek’s ATIC solutions to enable growth in the Texas market.

You will meet with current and prospective customers, write proposals, and manage orders to achieve monthly revenue quotas. Travel up to 50% and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• “1 year successful B2B sales experience” is preferred.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned vertical, account and territory through effective client research, prospecting, and networking.
• Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and participation at trade shows.
• Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify appropriate standards and pricing; Follow through on sales transactions to ensure a superior customer experience for every project.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet all activity targets and log activity in to iConnect (CRM), as required.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts, as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
