Roxbury Community College is seeking a part-time Testing Center Student Assistant to support reception, clerical tasks, and light proctoring at the RCC Testing Department on campus. This Federal Work-Study-position offers up to 18.5 hours per week based on the academic schedule.
You'll greet students, assist with check-in, forms, data entry, room setup, and maintain confidentiality while learning foundational student-services skills under supervision.

Position Summary
The Testing Center Student Assistant provides entry-level reception, clerical, customer-service, and light proctoring support to the RCC Testing Department. The student helps maintain an organized, professional, confidential, and welcoming testing environment while developing foundational administrative and student-service skills.

Three Testing Center Student Assistant placements are authorized through Federal Work-Study. Students are assigned to weekday, on-campus coverage and may work no more than 18.5 hours per week.
Supervision & Performance
The Testing Center Student Assistant reports to Sophia Sanon and works under the direction of Testing Department staff and proctors. Students receive training on testing procedures, confidentiality, role boundaries, reception responsibilities, and light proctoring support.
Advancement
Strong performers may become candidates for future intermediate student-services, testing, administrative, or peer-support positions when available.
