Job summary

Gordon State College seeks a Testing Center and Academic Support Coordinator to oversee daily Testing Center operations, coordinate exams, and ensure security and FERPA/ADA compliance. The role includes academic support, registration assistance, and outreach for student success.

Responsibilities cover coordinating staff, assisting with advising when appropriate, and supporting the Center for Workforce Development with purchasing and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor¿s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
• Two years of related professional experience in testing services, academic support, student services, or higher education administration.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a college purchasing card, including credit checks.
• Annual training and renewal of certifications for the Testing Center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Testing Center operations, schedules, and staffing.
• Administer in-person and virtual exams with security and compliance.
• Explain ACCUPLACER scores and placement information per policy.
• Provide academic support and registration assistance to students.
• Support Center for Workforce Development with administrative duties.
