Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) is seeking an engineer to develop and update custom test equipment hardware for launcher, radar, and missile non-tactical test systems. The role involves collaboration across disciplines, design reviews, and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure projects meet requirements.

Responsibilities include hardware integration, system verification, and addressing program needs while maintaining cost and schedule objectives. Domestic and international travel of ~10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field and 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting with test equipment: oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
• Ability to read/generate schematics and perform hardware/software integration in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and update custom test equipment hardware for launcher, radar, and missile non-tactical test systems.
• Support critical process gates, including design reviews, to ensure successful project execution.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP connection-based systems and Circuit Card Assembly issues.
