Job summary

RTX's Test Equipment Engineering team is seeking a hands-on engineer to develop and integrate test hardware for launcher, radar, and missile testing at White Sands NM. You will participate in design reviews, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure systems meet specifications.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2 years’ related experience, and the ability to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2 years of related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting with commonly used test equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and digital multimeters.
• Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating object-oriented software using C# in Visual Studio on Windows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and update custom test equipment hardware.
• Support critical process gates, including design reviews.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP connection-based systems and circuit card assemblies.
• Perform integration, verification and qualification testing to ensure the system meets specifications.
• Work across disciplines to address program requirements while managing cost and schedule.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (10-20%).
