Job summary

RTX is hiring a Systems Engineer II for onsite work in Andover, MA and surrounding locations. The role focuses on planning and executing complex integration and verification test events for missile defense technologies.

The ideal candidate will have systems integration/test experience, a strong foundation in electrical/computer engineering, and the ability to travel up to 15% to RTX facilities and test sites in MA and NH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with systems requirements, systems integration, systems test, systems software, and/or systems hardware.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute complex integration and verification test events.
• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Modeling and simulation to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
