Job summary

RTX in Plano, TX is seeking a Systems Test Engineer II with experience in system integration to join a development team delivering a complex system of systems for the customer. This onsite role requires DoD Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will operate radar test equipment, support integration, verification and validation, and work closely with the test team and engineers to analyze issues and maintain a systems-level perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
• Active and transferable DoD Top Secret clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate radar test equipment and assist in system test execution to ensure the system meets specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the team and leadership.
• Communicate daily with the test team and with other engineers involved in testing.
• Maintain a systems-level perspective during integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze system problems and communicate issues to the engineering team.
