Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Test Engineering Intern at its site in Stennis, Mississippi. You will learn Archimedes Engine test operations and support engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps under the guidance of your mentor.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in an engineering discipline with at least one semester remaining; GPA 3.0 or higher and 3+ months of applied engineering experience. This on-site role runs for 12 weeks, starting May or June 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable).

• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning.
