Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Test Engineering Intern for our site in Stennis, Mississippi. You will learn Archimedes engine test operations on-site, support engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps while working closely with mentors and engineers.

The program emphasizes hands-on engineering, teamwork, and ongoing professional development through frequent 1:1s, tech talks, and intern networking events. This is a full-time, on-site internship lasting 12 weeks starting May or June 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate in an engineering discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work) applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Archimedes engine test operations and support as an operator.
• Learn and apply engineering concepts in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend regular 1:1 mentoring sessions and progress updates.
• Engage in technical talks and professional networking events.
