Rocket Lab Corporation in Mississippi invites a Test Engineering Intern to support Archimedes Engine test operations on-site. You will assist with engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps under mentorship, learning alongside propulsion teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration, and professional growth, with frequent mentor meetings and tech talks during a 12-week on-site program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD engineering program with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab or project).
• Nice to have: GPA 3.5+, 6+ months of experience, SolidWorks, MATLAB, Siemens NX, Python and Java, CAD/CAM, GD&T, pressurized systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally.
• Apply engineering concepts to solve real challenges in a fast-paced team.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
• Engage in tech talks and network with interns and staff at events.
