Job summary

Rocket Lab USA seeks a Test Engineering Intern at our site in Mississippi. You will support Archimedes engine test operations, assist with engine rebuilds, readiness, and hardware swaps while learning from skilled mentors.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in a fast-paced team, collaboration across groups, and ongoing development through 1:1s, tech talks, and networking events. Immediate on-site start with a 12+ week commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering discipline and have at least one semester remaining after internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or projects)

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates.
• Participate in tech talks and network with interns and staff.
