Job summary

Rocket Lab invites a Test Engineering Intern to join the Archimedes engine test operations at our site in Stennis, Mississippi. You will support engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps as part of a small, high-performing team dedicated to advancing launch capabilities.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0, has at least 3 months of applied engineering experience, and is ready to work on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks beginning in 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work with mentor and department to apply engineering knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress and learning.
