Job summary

Rocket Lab, based in Long Beach, CA, is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern role. You will work with design, production and quality teams to develop and qualify processes for rocket engines while learning from a hands-on mentor-led program.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor’s program in engineering/physics/math with at least one semester remaining, a GPA of 3.0+, and 3+ months of applied engineering experience. On-site, full-time for 12 weeks starting May/June 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mentors and department team to apply engineering concepts and grow skills
• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges
• Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors to track progress and learn
• Engage in technical talks and networking events with interns and staff
