Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is seeking an Education Ticketing & Technical Support professional to set up and maintain Tessitura education ticketing, provide cross-department support, and coordinate on-sales testing. The role emphasizes collaboration with Box Office, Cinema Operations, Guest Experience, and Marketing to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

The position requires hands-on Tessitura experience, nonprofit arts environment familiarity, and strong communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on Tessitura ticketing experience including productions, performances, price types, modes of sale, seats, holds and registrations.
• Experience supporting ticketing operations across multiple departments in a performing arts or cultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Tessitura issues and explain solutions to non-technical staff.
• Experience testing software releases or upgrades and documenting results.
• Knowledge of accessible seating practices in Tessitura.
• Experience training end users and writing clear procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours to support on-sales.

Aufgaben

• Set up and maintain Education ticketing in Tessitura for productions, performances, price types, capacities, holds, waitlists and registrations.
• Provide Tessitura technical support to Box Office, Cinema Operations, Guest Experience, Marketing and other departments; troubleshoot system issues.
• Coordinate with Tessitura Network support on ticketing issues as directed by the Director of IS.
• Coordinate testing for Tessitura releases, upgrades and patches with Box Office and Cinema Operations; document results and resolution.
• Prepare and transfer knowledge through training and documentation for Education ticketing.
