Responsibilities include risk selection, pricing discipline, and agency relationship management within authority, collaborating with leadership and partners to execute territory strategies and meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of commercial underwriting experience, with workers' compensation preferred.
• Experience managing agency relationships and producer pipelines.
• Professional designation (CPCU, ARM, AU, CIC) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Owns assigned agency territory and book of business with profitability focus.
• Evaluates workers' compensation submissions by analyzing codes, exposures, and payroll.
• Makes underwriting decisions within authority and escalates as needed.
• Prices new and renewal business per guidelines balancing growth and profitability.
• Develops agency partnership plans and pipeline management.
• Conducts regular agency visits and meetings to discuss strategy and commitments.
