Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across Charlottesville north to Northern VA and into Upper Marlboro MD. You will develop accounts, forecast sales, analyze markets, and plan daily activities using CRM to maximize opportunities within a dynamic team.

The role requires 3+ years of direct sales in building products, high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in building products
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Thorough understanding of the building products industry and sales management in dealer/ distribution channels
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Account Development: Expand and cultivate existing accounts while establishing new ones
• Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis
• Market Analysis: Analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth
• Sales Planning: Plan daily activities using CRM and a structured call frequency system
• Customer Engagement: Conduct promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities
• Price Management: Recommend pricing changes within guidelines based on market dynamics
• Problem Resolution: Address customer complaints, investigate issues, and propose solutions
• Sales Administration: Maintain thorough sales records including customer profiles and territory records
