Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Territory Executive to identify leads, prospect new and profitable business, and sell the full suite of waste and recycling services across a designated market. You will meet with clients, deliver presentations, and close sales while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in sales (2+ years in direct selling) and experience in waste or service industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs.
• Waste or service industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads and acquires new profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and creates a follow-up task in Salesforce.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Develops awareness of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate needs.
