Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Territory Executive to identify leads, prospect new commercial business, and sell the full suite of waste and recycling services across assigned markets outside major metropolitan areas.

You will meet with key decision makers, deliver persuasive presentations, and close contracts while leveraging Salesforce to track activities and grow revenue. This role requires a results-driven mindset, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Waste or service industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads and acquires new profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business.
• Maintains and retains existing customers through long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and documents next steps in Salesforce.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and increase profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Delivers sales presentations and closes deals with key decision makers.
