Job summary

Republic Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Territory Executive to identify leads, prospect new business and sell the full suite of waste and recycling services to commercial and municipal customers. You will meet with decision makers, deliver presentations and drive revenue growth while building long-term relationships.

Required are 5+ years of sales experience, 2+ years in direct selling, and waste or service industry background plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Waste or service industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Respond to leads promptly and document next steps in Salesforce.
• Conduct sales presentations to new and existing clients and close sales.
• Develop market awareness and knowledge of pricing and services to grow revenue.
