Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Frederick, MD area. This field-based role will drive the Vet BU strategy by achieving clinic-focused sales goals, leveraging data and relationships with clinic decision-makers to grow access and recommendations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), 2+ years in sales (B2B ideally), and veterinary clinic experience. Overnight travel (~20–30%) and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; ~20–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers in the territory.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Coordinate with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives.
• Build partnerships and collaborate to achieve shared goals across the BU.
