Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Toledo, OH is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to execute the Vet BU strategy, grow clinic partnerships, and meet territory KPIs as an individual contributor.

You will translate data into opportunities, develop a territory plan, build relationships with clinic decision-makers, and present data-driven insights to veterinary staff while traveling 20–30%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, ~20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to grow clinics in the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations to address veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate across BU & organization with internal/external stakeholders.
• Build partnerships to meet shared objectives and execute the sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies based on needs.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM and reports timely.
