Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth for tile products across a retailer and dealer network within an assigned territory in the United States. The role includes relationship-building, product training, pricing discussions, and order fulfillment.

The Associate-level, full-time position offers a base salary with potential for commissions, regular travel up to 90%, and performance bonuses. Bachelor's degree preferred and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong math skills for discounts, commissions, figures.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers within designated territories to drive sales of MSI tile products.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel to enable effective presentations and negotiations.
• Understand MSI products, competition, and strategies to position products advantageously.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer accessibility.
• Consult with dealers on pricing, terms, promotions, and ROI.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
• Estimate delivery dates based on MSI delivery schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Use catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to expand territory reach.
• Research and analyze customer needs and market trends to forecast demand.
• Resolve delivery, return, and credit issues; attend trade shows as required.
• Willing to travel up to 90%, with local travel and occasional overnight trips.
• Perform additional duties as required.
