Job summary

DGI Supply in the United States (California, San Leandro area) is seeking a Junior Technical Sales Representative to grow a designated territory by building relationships with prospective and existing clients. The role collaborates with internal teams to meet customer needs and hit sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, CRM and MS Office skills, with a willingness to travel and learn product lines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to engage prospective and existing customers with a consultative approach.
• Experience with industrial/MRO sectors is advantageous but not required.
• Professional demeanor with integrity and accountability.
• Familiarity with automated procurement systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and beyond as needed.
• Strong Microsoft Office and CRM software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sales calls to prospective and existing customers under guidance.
• Use consultative selling to identify requirements and upsell/cross-sell.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and partner suppliers.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Contribute to achieving sales and gross margin targets.
• Demonstrate new products to clients and attend meetings.
• Report market trends and competitive insights to management.
• Collaborate with suppliers on joint calls to create opportunities.
• Represent the company ethically in all sales activities.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales presentations; assist in negotiating terms.
