Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to promote our Surgical Portfolio across a multi-state territory centered in Arkansas and Louisiana. You will build trusted relationships with doctors and OR staff, align strategies with regional goals, and contribute to the team’s success through on-site and phone sales activities.

You will work with Sales Consultants in your region to meet personal and business targets, explore new markets, and address customer concerns while delivering

Qualifications

• High school degree/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience or at least 4+ years related experience.
• Inside or field sales experience in healthcare or similar industry preferred.
• Medical device experience preferred.
• Strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills essential.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% and cover a geographic territory that may span several states.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote our Surgical Portfolio in your territory to meet clinical and economic needs.
• Formulate and implement selling strategies for products of intermediate complexity by phone and on site.
• Engage with install base and existing customers for incremental purchases and issue resolution.
• Ensure clinical adoption across the portfolio through product demonstrations and in-servicing.
• Schedule and complete customer sales calls and follow up on opportunities.
• Assist with product demonstrations and support site visits, fairs, and mock rooms.
