Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Associate Sales Representative for the Southern California region within our Surgical Business unit. This role focuses on on-site customer interactions with doctors and OR staff, selling a broad portfolio of capital equipment and driving adoption of new products.

The candidate will join a team of sales professionals, building relationships, formulating territory strategies, and achieving or exceeding sales targets while traveling up to 75% to cover Arkansas and Louisiana

Qualifications

• High school degree/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience or at least 4+ years related experience.
• Healthcare or similar industry experience preferred in inside or field sales; medical device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote Surgical Portfolio in territory to meet customer needs.
• Develop selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity by phone and on site.
• Engage with install base and existing customers for incremental purchases; address pricing/delivery issues.
• Drive clinical adoption via product trials, demonstrations, and in‑servicing.
• Schedule and complete customer sales calls to meet quotas and develop business.
• Assist with product demonstrations for customers as requested.
• Support site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms as needed.
