Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is looking for an Associate Sales Representative aligned to the Southern California region within the Surgical Business unit.

You will promote our Surgical Portfolio to surgeons, nurses, and operating room staff, building trust and delivering patient‑centric solutions. The role involves working with a Sales Consultants team, formulating selling strategies, handling customer concerns, and traveling up to 75% to meet and exceed goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years experience or at least 4+ years related experience.
• Inside or field sales role in the healthcare or similar industry preferred.
• Medical device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and promoting our Surgical Portfolio in your territory to meet customer’s clinical and economic needs
• Independently formulating and implementing selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to customers by phone and on site.
• Engaging with the install base and existing customers for incremental purchases, pricing/delivery issues, and overall support to improve their experience
• Ensuring clinical adoption across the product portfolio through product trialing, demonstrations, and in‑servicing to improve customers’ adoption of their portfolio
• Scheduling and completing customer sales calls quotas and following up on opportunities to develop the business
• Assisting with set up of product demonstrations for customers as requested
• Supporting site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms, as necessary
