Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Surgical Care Sales Representative to grow sales within an assigned territory through consultative, relationship-focused strategies that improve patient outcomes. You will partner with Orthopaedic Instruments teams and collaborate across functions to build pipeline, close deals, and expand accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of outside sales/territory management experience.
• 2+ years of professional work experience.
• Preferred: medical device sales or healthcare sales with quota responsibility.
• Experience delivering product demonstrations, in-services, or clinical education.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a defined geographic territory, executing a strategic plan to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Prospect, cold call, and develop new business across hospitals, surgery centers, and wound care clinics.
• Engage with physicians, nurses, and clinical stakeholders to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations, clinical training, and in-service education on wound care, skin closure, and NPWT products.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive product adoption and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with Orthopaedic Instruments partners to identify opportunities and close complex deals.
• Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and track all account activity.
• Analyze territory performance, customer data, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and clinical meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads.
