Job summary

Weld Wire Company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop and grow our presence throughout the greater Charlotte area. This role focuses on generating new business and building long-term customer relationships in a true territory sales position.

The ideal candidate will enjoy prospecting, creating opportunities, and managing their own territory. If you are not comfortable making cold calls and opening new accounts, this position may not be the right fit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in welding or industrial distribution.
• Existing relationships or book of business preferred.
• Strong hunter mentality; you enjoy prospecting, opening doors and closing deals.
• Comfortable with cold calling and in-person selling.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and call daily to generate new business.
• Develop and manage a territory across the greater Charlotte area.
• Build relationships with fabricators, contractors, and industrial customers.
• Grow existing accounts while pursuing new opportunities.
• Work independently and take ownership of territory performance and sales goals.
