Purple Wave Auction in Illinois seeks a Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence in the Northern Illinois region, focusing on construction, ag, fleet, and government sectors. You will build relationships with heavy equipment owners and manage the auction process from lead to close.

The role requires up to 75% travel, a self-motivated mindset, and a commitment to high ethical standards. We offer a base salary with commission, a company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years of successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries.
• Valid driver's license and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate clients within the assigned territory about Purple Wave's equipment auction services and how to use them to buy or sell used equipment.
• Enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain communication across the team.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Represent Purple Wave at trade shows, conferences, and events to promote services and assets.
• Travel up to 75% and undertake additional duties as assigned.
