Job summary

Purple Wave Auction in Northern Illinois is seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence in the construction, ag, fleet and government sectors. You will develop key relationships with heavy equipment owners and buyers, travel up to 75% and manage the end-to-end auction process.

This full-time role includes a base salary plus commission, company vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a fast-growing Midwest leader in online equipment auctions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel extensively when required.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, and government industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate and inform clients within their assigned territory of the equipment auction services Purple Wave provides and how they might utilize these services to sell or buy used equipment.
• Responsible for gathering and entering customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain a high level of communication to all team members.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Positively represent our company to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
