Job summary

Purple Wave Auction is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to cover Northern Illinois. You will develop relationships with construction, ag, fleet, and government clients, educate them on our auction services, and drive revenue with a strong, self-motivated sales approach.

You will travel up to 75% of the time, work within a dynamic team, and benefit from a competitive salary with commission and a company vehicle. This is a full-time, exempt role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years of successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Knowledge of construction, agriculture, fleet, or government industries.
• Ability to use technologies and CRM to gather and share information.
• Self-motivated with initiative to close deals.
• Strong attention to detail and ethics.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave's visibility and brand recognition.
• Educate clients within the territory about equipment auction services and how to use them to sell or buy used equipment.
• Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain communication with the team.
• Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
• Represent Purple Wave to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
• Promote upcoming auctions through equipment promotion of inventory and packages.
• Manage buyer and seller relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Respond to inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote services, auctions, and assets.
