Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to identify and nurture business relationships within a designated territory and to maximize revenue for the branch and the company. You will manage daily field activity, develop a network of potential clients and implement sales strategies to hit quotas.

The role rewards performance with base plus commission and uncapped upside, supported by strong product and team resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales or Business Administration preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites/offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them via telephone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment.
• Identify customer needs and respond to market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate strategic-level accounts to diversify customer base across industries.
• Support all team members.
