Job summary

Herc Rentals is inviting a Territory Sales Representative in Billings, MT to grow revenue through active client engagement at job sites and offices. You will build a regional network, craft sales plans, and drive equipment rentals to meet targets in a competitive market.

The role requires a track record in outside sales within industrial sectors, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Comp and benefits accompany a full-time on-site position in Billings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, promotions, advertising sales or business administration.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites and offices.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and contact them by phone and internet.
• Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
• Identify customer needs and respond to market conditions and pricing.
• Penetrate strategic accounts to diversify the customer base across industrial and nontraditional sectors.
• Support all team members.
