Job summary

The Acosta Group in Dayton, OH is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive CPG sales growth and enhance brand presence across an assigned territory. You will engage customers, perform merchandising, and develop strong relationships with store personnel and clients.

You will promote products, expand distribution, participate in in-store events, and report insights to internal teams. A customer-centric, independent worker with travel willingness will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• The candidate has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel across multiple stores in a territory.
• Experience in outside sales or retail environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by promoting and selling CPG products and merchandising within assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders.
• Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
• Participate in in-store sales events and promotions.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
• Manage territory routing and prioritization.
• Report sales performance insights to internal teams.
• Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with policies and merchandising standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and launches.
• Inform management of store issues, competition, and market trends.
• Ensure full product distribution and display in all accounts.
• Document activities including sales results and store observations.
