Job summary

Acosta Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in an assigned territory by promoting CPG products and executing merchandising plans. The role focuses on expanding distribution, building relationships with store personnel and clients, and delivering strong customer experiences in a field-based setting.

The position requires willingness to travel within Macedonia, OH, and adjacent areas, with a daytime, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales or field sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of retail merchandising and CPG products.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by promoting and selling consumer packaged goods (CPG) products and merchandising within assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, store personnel and client stakeholders to drive in store sales growth.
• Execute merchandising standards including displays and promotions.
• Participate in in-store sales events and promotional events.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand product distribution.
• Manage assigned territory through effective routing and prioritization.
• Communicate sales performance insights to internal teams and clients.
• Complete reporting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and merchandising standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and new product launches.
• Keep management informed of store issues, competitive activity, and market trends.
• Ensure full product distribution and display in all assigned accounts.
• Document and report activities, including sales results, merchandising, and store observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
