Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking an Account Sales Specialist to manage assigned retail accounts, promote new products, and optimize in-store promotions across shelf, cold box, and floor displays. Responsibilities include inventory management, timely order processing, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the work environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organization, and self-motivation, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, a self-starter, and able to work with very little direct supervision.
• Highly organized with the ability to work quickly and accurately while handling competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory by keeping abreast of business conditions and opportunities.
• Develop the trust and confidence of retailers as a merchandising consultant.
• Prepare for each sales call with customer history, credit info, suggestive selling and product knowledge.
• Prepare timely reporting to sales management on distribution and promotion issues.
• Maximize sales results through pre-planning and executing objectives and product knowledge.
• Write orders, design displays, and organize on-site promotions.
