ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Field Sales team in California. You will manage an assigned territory, build world-class relationships with major home center partners such as The Home Depot and Lowe’s, and drive in-store presence by developing sales/marketing plans, budgets, and merchandising execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum in retail, merchandising or account management.
• Experience supervising and managing others and budgets preferred.
• Ability to travel, work independently, and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Direct Merchandisers, plan schedules, and delegate work with feedback.
• Use strategic selling to educate home center partners on opportunities.
• Develop and execute retail sales/marketing plans and events.
• Recruit, interview, and hire to build your Merchandiser team within budget.
• Provide product knowledge training across Scotts brands and optimize merchandising.
