Job summary

Continental Battery Systems is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive new client acquisition and grow sales within an assigned territory. The role emphasizes outside sales, travel, and building strong customer relationships to maximize profit margins and market share.

Your focus will be on proactive client development, strategic negotiations, and supporting the sales team while delivering consistent reporting and customer-focused service. Travel will be extensive to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
• MVR with little to no safety concerns within the past 3 years.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a battery industry, outside sales capacity, with high success in profitable outside sales and customer retention within that position, or
• Minimum 3 years working in an outside sales capacity, with high success in profitable outside sales and customer retention within that position and ability to learn rapidly.

Responsibilities

• New Client Acquisition: Proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
• Client Retention and Growth: Foster strong relationships with existing customers. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, address their needs, and drive repeat business.
