Factory Motor Parts Co. is seeking a Regional Battery Sales Manager with strong automotive sales experience to lead Battery Route Sales reps across the region. You will drive program development, train teams, and ensure compliance and profitability.

You will need proven leadership, financial acumen, and a track record of closing major opportunities in the automotive/battery space, with travel up to 50% and a focus on growth and results for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field and 5-10 years proven sales experience with 2-5 years regional leadership.
• Strong financial skills and ability to analyze revenue and inventory flows.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to adequately manage region and customer base.
• Experience in the automotive and/or battery marketing fields preferred.
• Proven ability to close top opportunity accounts and develop/train a region.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate Battery Route Sales reps in your territory.
• Develop and manage battery programs and oversee compliance.
• Oversee financial reporting for revenue, inventory, returns and credits.
• Partner with Merchandising and Sales to support initiatives and vendor relations.
• Audit commissions to ensure ROI and profitable sales growth.
• Provide training and transfer knowledge to the team; influence others to reach objectives.
• Coordinate with leadership to align operation procedures with sales goals.
• Travel up to 50% to manage regional coverage.
