Job summary

DSI is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Hartford, CT to lead sales performance across an assigned retail territory. You will onboard and coach Retail Sales Associates, drive weekly store execution, and personally sell weekly to stay sharp and lead by example.

You’ll be accountable for hitting company goals while building a high-performance culture. Responsibilities include training RSAs, visiting stores weekly, monitoring KPIs, interviewing and hiring, and payroll.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in wireless/consumer electronics or multi-unit retail sales leadership.
• Proven record of hitting sales goals while developing people.
• Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and making fast, practical decisions.
• Strong interviewer and coach; clear written and verbal communication.
• Willing and able to travel across the Hartford area and work a retail aligned schedule including weekends.
• Driving requirements: valid driver’s license; MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train RSAs; deliver in-store new-hire training and ongoing upskill sessions.
• Visit assigned stores weekly; inspect merchandising, demos, and attach.
• Monitor sales KPIs and staffing compliance; act quickly on gaps.
• Conduct final interviews and make hiring recommendations.
• Approve payroll accurately and on time.
• Promote a positive, accountable team culture.
• Provide weekly coaching to RSAs with clear action plans.
• Personally achieve sales each week to model best practices.
• Fill staffing gaps by covering shifts when needed.
