Job summary

Alside, a leading exterior building products distributor, is seeking a results-driven Account Manager for Conway, AR. You will manage sales and strategic accounts across a defined territory, drive growth, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will leverage uncapped commissions and an incentive plan to reward performance while building lasting relationships with builders, remodelers, and architects. Travel 70% is expected within the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales history.
• Solid longevity in past positions.
• Self-directed, organized, customer-focused and competitive.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience in new business selling and upselling.
• Travel 70% of the week within the region.
• Building materials industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of windows and siding for builders and architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and account planning, forecasting, reporting for assigned accounts.
• Develop and maintain target accounts, drive growth within territory.
• Understand objectives to identify sales opportunities.
• Acquire new customers to maximize revenue.
• Provide exceptional customer service and issue follow-up.
• Work with supply center and corporate resources to fulfill orders.
• Know AM sales process and policies (accruals, credit, expenses, rewards).
• Mentor other sales representatives.
