Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Sales Area Manager to lead growth for a defined Kentucky territory. You will combine technical expertise with strategic sales planning, managing opportunities from discovery to close while coordinating NI resources, distributors, and partners to drive outcomes.

You will engage engineers and business leaders, deliver product demonstrations, and shape territory strategy with a high degree of ownership.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales and customer-facing technical roles.
• Ability to conduct technical discussions with engineers and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Own business performance and revenue growth within an assigned geographic territory.
• Develop and execute a Territory Growth Plan to drive customer acquisition and account expansion.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders to advance NI solutions.
• Collaborate with distributors, partners, and field resources to extend market reach.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity plans using CRM tools.
