Job summary

Emerson in the United States is seeking a Sales Area Manager to drive revenue growth across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. You will develop and execute a Regional Growth Plan with customers, coordinate with Applications Engineering, Sales, and channel partners, and leverage distributors, resellers, and solution integration partners to extend reach.

The role requires building strong executive relationships, managing pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce, traveling regularly to customer sites

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Only U.S. Persons.
• Previous experience as a Field Applications Engineer and/or Sales Account Manager is a plus.
• Test & Measurement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth plans.
• Manage pipeline, forecasts, and quotas, and build customer relationships.
• Partner with distributors, resellers, and solution integration partners.
• Travel frequently within the territory to meet customers and events.
• Establish and nurture the LabVIEW community and user group meetings.
