Job summary

Emerson in the United States seeks a Sales Area Manager to grow a multi-state territory across industries and with distributors, resellers, and solution integration partners. You will develop and drive a Regional Growth Plan in collaboration with customers and NI resources.

You will travel frequently, lead pipeline development, account planning, and forecasts, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and revenue growth in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales or related roles.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• US persons only per policy.
• Experience as Field Applications Engineer or Sales Account Manager is a plus.
• Test & Measurement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a Regional Growth Plan with key customers.
• Manage territory pipeline, forecasting, and quota attainment.
• Establish access to decision makers across industries and partners.
• Collaborate with applications engineering, sales, and channel teams.
• Travel frequently within the assigned region to engage customers.
