Job summary

McKee Foods is seeking a District Sales Representative to drive sales growth across the Cranberry Township/West Pittsburgh suburbs and broader PA territory. You will collaborate with independent distributors and retailers, cultivate relationships, and represent our brands in the marketplace.

Requirements include 3 years of retail management or sales experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel widely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one to two years of post-high school education or equivalent experience.
• Three years of retail management or sales experience.
• Previous customer service experience across diverse situations.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to travel extensively within or outside of the assigned district.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Foster sales growth through collaboration with independent wholesale distributors and retailers.
• Cultivate strong business relationships with distributors and retailers.
• Act as a liaison between McKee Foods, wholesale independent distributors, and retailers.
• Motivate existing wholesalers to expand sales.
• Recruit and appoint competent candidates to distributorships.
• Provide orientation for new distributors and communicate best business practices.
• Manage and develop a company sales territory as necessary.
• Ensure daily operation and maintenance of a company vehicle.
• Adhere to established business conduct practices.
• Maintain regular communication with supervision.
• Complete reports and assignments in a timely manner.
• Temporary and occasional operation of an open location.
• Serve as a professional representative of McKee Foods in the marketplace.
