Job summary

Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices seeks an Area Manager for the Houston/New Orleans region to lead capital sales, drive new business and deepen existing relationships with physicians, clinical staff and administrators.

This field role requires strong clinical and technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes. Travel up to 75% and office presence 3 days per week as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of capital sales experience.
• Interventional space experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical and technical expertise with ability to engage physicians, nurses, clinicians, department leaders and supply chain executives in value-based sales.
• Must meet physical, cognitive and environmental requirements for this Sales role.
• Ability to manage assigned accounts across utilization, relationships, problem resolution and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for driving and growing total revenue across capital, disposables, and service in the assigned territory.
• Strengthens market position by deepening existing account penetration and developing new target accounts.
• Demonstrates understanding of customer strategy and competitive market in the Interventional space.
• Collaborates with Philips teams to align on and execute account strategies.
• Builds and maintains relationships at all levels of customer organizations, including executive-level connections with decision-makers.
• Develops pricing strategies for disposables and services in partnership with the RSM and manages key customer relationships across physicians, clinical staff and administrators.
• Delivers clinical training and educational support to customers and disseminates technical product information.
• Contributes to development and execution of regional hospital staff training programs.
