Job summary

Allegiant Business Group seeks a Sales Representative & Field Trainer to drive direct sales with local businesses and mentor newer agents. You will meet business owners and employees in your territory, present benefit options, and guide teams to grow their books of business.

The role emphasizes leadership, relationship building, and consistent personal production, with independent contractor structure and flexible scheduling to maximize territory impact.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or field leadership experience preferred.
• Strong mentoring and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to obtain Health & Life license and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with small and mid-sized business clients.
• Lead in-person benefit presentations and enrollment-style meetings.
• Recommend supplemental insurance solutions based on client needs.
• Mentor newer agents through field training and coaching.
• Lead by example with personal production and integrity.
• Maintain accurate activity and client records using Salesforce CRM.
• Prospect through referrals, networking, and scheduled appointments.
• Collaborate with leadership to set weekly goals and team development.
• Provide ongoing client service, follow-up, and re-servicing.
