Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a sales management role in construction, ideally flooring.
• Minimum 10 years in sales, preferably within construction, ideally flooring.
• Experience selling B2B to construction wholesalers, retailers, and contractors.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned territory.
• Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
• Conduct cold calls and prospect for new business opportunities.
• Establish productive relationships with key personnel in accounts.
• Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
• Manage daily operations of the sales department.
• Report on sales results and forecast future trends.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales materials.
• Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions.
• Provide training and coaching to sales team members.
