Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Territory Executive to identify leads and prospect for new and profitable business in a defined market outside metropolitan areas. You will sell the full suite of Republic Services products including waste, recycling, and total waste stream management solutions.

In this role you will meet with new and existing clients, deliver presentations, and close sales with key decision makers while using Salesforce daily to track activities and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant sales experience in a business-to-business environment.
• 2+ years of direct, customer-facing selling experience identifying and addressing customer needs.
• Waste or service industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads and acquires new profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and creates a follow-up task in Salesforce to determine next steps.
