Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. seeks a Product Support Sales Representative to keep customers' machines healthy by selling Caterpillar parts, preventive maintenance, and repairs within a designated territory. The role develops marketing plans to increase sales and profits while minimizing downtime and promoting all Wagner products.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a heavy equipment dealership, strong customer service, and are ready to travel up to 75% within a defined territory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college or trade school preferred.
• 3+ years experience with a heavy equipment dealership in a parts or service function.
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience.
• 3+ years customer service experience.
• 1+ years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains profiles on all major parts and service competitors.
• Reports lost parts and service sales.
• Compiles and maintains customer call list.
• Submits call list and expense reports.
• Maintains CTS files to maximize undercarriage sales.
• Coordinates Service repairs and Parts deliveries.
• Works with parts and service managers to meet customer needs.
• Makes office and on-site sales calls to customers.
• Provides quotes and recommends service options.
• Conducts periodic basic machine inspections.
• Travel 50%-75%.
